The "snow" is gold sparkles which float and fly around smoothly when shaken. It uses 2 AA batteries, not included. Measures approx/ 10" side to side, 7.25" front to back, 8 tall - and it's heavy! Weighing in at almost 7.5 lbs.

On the top of the snowglobe with the 3 little people, one of them seems to be missing his head. If I hadn't taken a picture up close, I would have never noticed. (I added the picture to show). Otherwise this globe is in great condition. This snow globe is retired and no longer available. It would make an awesome addition to any Peter Pan or Disney Collectors collection.
